Course Settings Overview

Use Course Settings to manage how your course looks, behaves, and is delivered to learners.

  1. Log in to your Admin account
  2. Navigate to Content
  3. Open an existing course or create a new one
  4. Enter the Course Builder
  5. On the far left menu, select Settings

What You Can Configure

Inside Settings, you can manage the following:

Course Details

  • Update your card image
  • Edit the course title
  • Add or update the course description

Lesson Order

  • Choose how learners move through the course:
    • Any Order – learners can complete lessons in any sequence
    • Sequential – lessons must be completed in order

Completion Rules

  • Set a course completion percentage required to pass
  • Define passing scores for quizzes and skill checks

Download Settings

  • Choose whether the course is available for download or not

Translations

  • Translate your course into multiple languages
  • Choose to:
    • Duplicate the course for a new language
    • Or update the current course with a new language

Publishing Controls

  • Set a publish date
  • Set an expiration date

Estimated Time

  • Add the expected time to complete the course

Tags and Topics

  • Add labels or tags to your course
  • Search for existing topics or create your own
  • Help learners find content more easily
