What is a Lesson?

A lesson is a section within a course. Lessons break training into smaller, more manageable pieces, making content easier for learners to complete and understand.

Rather than placing all information into one long course, lessons help organize content into logical topics or learning segments.

How Lessons Work

Each course contains at least one lesson.

Within a lesson, you can add content using Learner Mobile's authoring elements, including:

  • Text
  • Images
  • Videos
  • Audio
  • Knowledge checks
  • Interactive activities
  • Embedded SCORM content
  • Documents and resources

Lessons can be as simple or detailed as needed depending on the training being delivered.

Example Structure

Course: New Hire Onboarding

Lesson 1: Welcome to the Company
Lesson 2: Company Policies
Lesson 3: Safety Procedures
Lesson 4: Role Expectations

In this example, the course is the overall training experience, while each lesson focuses on a specific topic within that training.

Why It Matters

Lessons help break training into smaller sections that are easier to build, update, and navigate. This creates a better learning experience and helps learners focus on one topic at a time
