Channels Overview

Channels are the main way to organize and group content for your learners. They allow you to structure training by topic, role, or program, similar to how streaming services group content by category.

Channels are the default screen when logging into your Admin account and can also be accessed in the main menu under the Content tab by selecting Channels.

Create a Channel

  1. Navigate to ContentChannels
  2. In the top left, click Create Channel
  3. Enter the name of your channel
  4. Click the + icon to create it

Your new channel will appear at the top of your screen.

Add Content to a Channel

You can add both new and existing courses to a channel.

To create new content:

  • Open your channel
  • Click Create New to build a new course

To add existing content:

  1. Navigate to the course you want to add
  2. Open the course in the Course Builder
  3. Select Channels from the left-hand menu
  4. Check the box next to the desired channel
  5. Save your changes

Edit and Organize a Channel

  1. Navigate to ContentChannels
  2. Select Edit

From here, you can:

  • Drag and drop courses to reorder them
  • Pin courses to the beginning of the channel
  • Control how content appears for learners

Tip
Use channels to group content in a way that makes sense for your team, such as onboarding, operations, or role-based training. This makes it easier for learners to find and complete the right content.
